So we came got referred to a specialist at Cityu-VMC to see prof Slunsky for both Missy (Spine / nerve issue) and Miffun (orthepedics). Our booking was early and we didn't have to wait at all. The location is huge, on the second floor (~18 consultation rooms). We were greeted by Prof. Slunsky and 3 other trainee vets - this is part of their training process. They inspected each of our dogs, the trainees did the initial consultation and observation, Prof. Slunsky did the full orthepedic examination. Overall they were very professional and took around 30 minute per dog. This was much more through than our usual vet as this was a specialist consultation. Due the nature of our dogs, we had to schedule a follow up examination and x-ray to determine the issues. The specialist consultation was $1900 per dog. We were referred by our usual vet, booking was done via phone and confirmed via whatsapp - this process was easy.
