Hong Kong’s dog-friendly restaurant register: September 2026 update

A coffee stop at AIRSIDE, a meal at Gold Coast Piazza, or a catch-up at GO PARK: the latest FEHD register offers several places to investigate for your next outing with your dog. Check the specific branch and its seating arrangements before you leave. A register entry alone does not tell you how the visit will work.

We downloaded the FEHD dog-permitted restaurant register on 21 September 2026. It contained 992 licence entries, compared with 989 in our saved 17 August copy. The total has risen by three, but that does not mean only three entries changed: additions and removals can happen together.

Six listed branches to check

These entries appear in the September feed. The addresses below come directly from FEHD; the list is a starting point for planning, not a ranking or a record of visits by our reviewers.

What we found missing from our coverage

228 licence numbers in the current feed were absent from the source IDs in our restaurant files. That is a coverage gap, not a claim that Hong Kong has gained 228 new dog-friendly restaurants. Some entries may be branches we already cover under another licence or name. One entry does not supply a usable restaurant name.

We have added 153 restaurant listings and linked two more register entries to existing pages for NUK Café and 2.0 Cafe & Bar. That brings this update to 155 reconciled licence entries, without duplicating those two venues. We also matched 137 of the entries to OpenRice branch pages for details such as contact information, opening hours, cuisine and price range. For six hotel licences covering several areas, we have also added separately labelled details from 12 OpenRice outlet pages. Where a branch match remains unclear, we show the verified FEHD information and leave unconfirmed details blank.

73 other licence entries still need identity review. These can include restaurants already covered under another name or licence; they are not a list of 73 confirmed missing venues.

The new check also flags 66 existing published listings whose stored FEHD licence is absent from the current feed or whose name does not match. A missing entry is not proof that a restaurant has closed or refuses dogs. It means we should no longer present the old register match as current confirmation without further checking.

Before you take your dog

Ask the branch which area accepts dogs, whether you need to book that area, and whether it has any size, carrier or stroller conditions. Confirm that the dog seating is operating on your planned date and that the entrance you intend to use is suitable. The register does not establish those details for you.

If you are choosing between branches of the same brand, use the address and licence number, not just the restaurant name. Keep a second option nearby in case the available dog seating is full.

You can browse our restaurant directory for existing listings. This update is based on public FEHD records, not telephone confirmations or first-hand dining reviews; we have added no reviewer scores or visit claims for these entries.
