Pet-friendly malls in Hong Kong

Revamped Wan Chai complex on Queen's Road East. Dogs may walk on the ground floor outside the food court; the standout is The Barkyard — a 6,000 sq ft pet play area on the 15th floor with grooming, supplies and an indoor play zone.

Waterfront heritage building within Stanley Plaza, with restaurants, shops and verandahs overlooking Stanley Bay. Link says the adjacent piazza welcomes families and pets; keep dogs on leash outdoors and check each indoor venue’s own policy.

Hang Lung mall at the Peak with an outdoor pet park on the ground level. Dogs may walk on leash ≤1 m or stay in a stroller/bag; participating merchants display pet-friendly stickers. The Barkyard on L1 offers pet supplies, grooming and a swimming pool.

Open-air seaside mall on Stanley's waterfront, with cafes, food and lifestyle shops around the bay. Link's current property page says the 300-seat piazza caters to families and their pets; keep dogs controlled and check each shop's own rules before going indoors.

Small beachfront mall right on Repulse Bay. Dogs of all sizes are welcomed leashed across the common areas and into most ground-floor F&B. The official directory lists pet products, pet grooming and The Dog's Garden; check each venue's own rule before entry.

New flagship mall above Wong Chuk Hang MTR (South Island Line). Only domesticated cats and dogs are admitted; indoors they must stay in a stroller, carry bag or be hand-carried, while leashed walking (≤1.5 m) is allowed in the Cat/Dog Friendly Passage and Piazza.

Grade III historic market building reopened as a lifestyle hub with independent shops, cafes and weekend markets. The official pet-friendly zone is accessed via the Queen Victoria Street entrance; pets should stay in a properly closed carrier or covered stroller, while pets outside a carrier must be muzzled and kept on a leash no longer than 1.5m. Pets cannot enter areas marked by specific signage, and restaurants and supermarket areas remain off-limits unless specifically permitted.

Causeway Bay vertical mall at 500 Hennessy Road, directly served by Causeway Bay MTR Exit F2. The official directory lists The Dog's Garden pet shop at 709; confirm current dog access with management and individual tenants before visiting.

Seaside tech-park mall at Cyberport. The official Walk with Pets programme welcomes leashed pets inside the Arcade and at spacious resting spots; the 4/F Podium has a 4,000 sq ft outdoor grass lawn. Check each tenant's current rule before entry.

Causeway Bay twin-tower mall right above Causeway Bay MTR. The official site is currently running a pet offer for The Point members who bring pets to wwwtc mall; for day-to-day access, use the 5/F Harbour Sky Garden outdoor terrace and verify each floor and tenant's rules.

Waterfront complex (Phase 1–3) by North Point MTR. Pets are welcome under mall house rules; keep them in a pet stroller or carrier, or fixed with a pet leash, and check each tenant before entering. Harbour North also promotes a VIPet Park for eligible The Point Gold or selected members.

Upmarket mall beneath the IFC office towers, directly connected to Hong Kong Station. Ground floor: pets may be carried, in a stroller, or leashed ≤1.5 m. Levels 2–4: pets must be in a fully-enclosed stroller or carrier at all times, max 2 pets per owner.

Five-star Admiralty complex housing luxury retail, JW Marriott, Conrad and Island Shangri-La. Dogs must stay in a stroller or carrier inside the common areas; Pacific Place lends pet strollers from the L1/L2 concierge desks with a HK$500 deposit. Check each tenant before entering.

San Po Kong mall with an official 5,000+ sq ft outdoor Pets Park. Well-behaved pets may enter when carried, in a stroller/carrier, or leashed and under the owner’s control; indoor stores show their own pet-access signage, and pets are not permitted in food premises.

Mixed-use Kai Tak landmark by Nan Fung above Kai Tak MTR. The official pet-friendly zones are AIRSIDE Plaza (G/F), the G/F indoor mall area, AIR Farm (2/F) and AIRSIDE Garden (6/F). Concierge lending includes pet strollers and drinking bowls; waste bags and diapers are supplied on request.

Late-night Kwun Tong mall above Kwun Tong MTR. Pets may walk on a leash in the L2 apm Garden people-and-pet shared space; elsewhere in the mall, keep them in a stroller, carrier or hand-carry them. Check each restaurant or supermarket for its own access rules.

Lai Chi Kok mall complex (D2 Place ONE + D2 Place TWO) that bills itself as Hong Kong's most pet-first mall. Small dogs can walk on the ground floor; the rooftop features a Pets Park with grass, agility gear and a pet wash station. FEHD's current permitted-dog-restaurant list includes MESSINA Milk Cafe at D2 Place ONE 3/F Shop 303; check each venue's rules.

Cultural-architectural mall on the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront. K11’s official Bohemian Garden rules welcome domesticated dogs and cats; dogs should be rabies-vaccinated and all pets fully vaccinated against common infectious disease. Pets may walk there on a leash no longer than 1.5m, with no more than two pets per owner. Individual shop policies apply.

Tsim Sha Tsui mall directly above Austin and Kowloon MTR stations. Official guidelines allow domesticated dogs and cats: use a stroller, carrier or hand-carry indoors; podium walking is allowed on a leash up to 1.5 m. Restaurants and supermarkets are generally off-limits unless a food premise is legally permitted to admit dogs. Pet-stroller lending is available at the L1 Fire Zone Concierge (2735 5234).

Kowloon Tong mall directly above Kowloon Tong MTR, anchored by Festival Grand Cinema and the Glacier ice rink. Festival Walk’s current pet page says around 90 shops welcome pets; its published dog-entry list names six food premises, while each tenant may set its own rules.

Three-storey arcade beside Lai Chi Kok MTR with pet-related tenants including vet clinics, pet supply shops and pet-friendly cafes. FURI Bistro & Café (G61) appears on the government’s permitted dog-entry list; common-area and tenant rules can vary, so check before entry.

Mong Kok East rail-side mall connected to Mong Kok East MTR. MOKO's official services list includes pet-stroller lending, and its dining directory marks selected venues as dog-permitted; check each tenant's current rules before entry.

Japanese department store anchor in Tower I of The Twins, two minutes from Kai Tak MTR. The official Visit page publishes pet rules for the complex; follow the posted rules and check each tenant’s signage before entering.

Neighbourhood mall in Laguna Verde, near Whampoa MTR Exit A, with a waterfront promenade. It is listed as pet-friendly in Furry Green’s 2025 guide; individual tenants may set their own rules, so check before entering.

Tsim Sha Tsui's flagship harbourfront mall. Harbour City currently requires pets to stay in carrier bags or strollers throughout the mall; guide dogs on duty are exempt. Pet pads, waste bags and wet wipes are available at the Ocean Terminal Shoppers' Care Centre.

Mong Kok vertical mall with a long-running pet-friendly programme. Pets must enter in a stroller or carrier; when briefly taken out, they must be held and secured with a safety belt and leash ≤1.5 m. Restaurants and supermarkets are off-limits except to guide dogs, and only shops with the pet-friendly sign admit pets. Over 130 merchants display the sign.

Vertical entertainment mall in Kowloon Bay. Only domesticated dogs and cats may enter; indoors and on the mall shuttle they must stay in a covered stroller or carry bag, except guide dogs. The enclosed L4 Pets Playground is the designated ground area and opens 11am–6pm on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, weather and event conditions permitting.

West-Kowloon family mall connected to Olympic MTR. The current pet-access listing says dogs must be carried or kept in a stroller/bag indoors, with no entry to F&B outlets; confirm each tenant’s own rules before visiting.

Revamped textile mill turned creative-industry mall in Tsuen Wan, with an open-air courtyard, workshops and curated retail. The Mills’ official pet programme invites visitors to explore the site with their pets and follow a designated textile-history route; keep dogs supervised and on a leash, and check individual shops before entering.

Tai Wai's 650,000 sq ft mall above Tai Wai MTR. Dogs and cats may walk leashed in The Wai Landscape Garden; indoors they must be leashed and carried, in a pet stroller or in a bag. Dogs over 40cm also need a muzzle, and the garden is limited to two pets per owner.

Ma On Shan mall near the Ma On Shan MTR station, with leashed pets reported across indoor common areas and the rooftop. The 20,000 sq ft sky garden has a pet-friendly dining terrace and pet stations with waste bags and wet wipes; individual tenants may set their own rules.

Yuen Long destination mall with the official 8,000 sq ft DOT Park pet space across the G/F garden and L1 outdoor podium. The G/F area is open 8am–10pm and the L1 area 10am–10pm; keep dogs leashed and check each tenant's house rules indoors.

Tseung Kwan O mall directly above Tseung Kwan O MTR. Pets must be in a stroller, carrier or held indoors; pet-stroller loans and pet parking bays available. Pet-friendly garden zones on the podium.

Pet-friendly outdoor lifestyle complex with nearly 500,000 sq ft of leashed outdoor space and outdoor pet-friendly dining seats. The 2/F Pet Park (10am–8pm daily) has five pet facilities, shaded seating, pet parking and drinking fountains; indoors, pets must be leashed or carried in a stroller, bag or by hand. Owners may bring up to two pets; a muzzle is strongly recommended for pets over 20kg or 40cm.

Kwai Fong tower above Kwai Fong MTR. Indoors, pets must be in a stroller, bag or carried by hand; on the L3–L5 outdoor areas they may walk on a leash no longer than 1.5m. The L5 Fun Park is not a pet-access area. Concierge lends pet strollers, bags, leashes and masks, subject to availability.

One of HK's biggest suburban malls (Phase 1 + 3 + HomeSquare), connected to Sha Tin MTR. Pets must be carried or in a stroller/bag indoors; the Phase 1 L1 Pets Park is a designated area where pets may move freely, with agility equipment, a pet toilet and Dog Parking.

Ocean PopWalk (海天晉滙) is the waterfront retail podium at Ocean Wings. SHKP describes it as pet-welcoming, with free pet-cart rental, pet latrines and a pet-parking facility; individual tenants may still set their own rules.

A four-storey waterfront mall directly connected to Tsuen Wan West MTR. OP Mall is a practical 3/5 dog outing: four FEHD-licensed dog-friendly restaurants are linked below and the 3/F Customer Service Centre lends pet strollers from 10:00–21:30, but dogs must stay in a carrier or stroller in the common areas and individual shops set their own rules.

Neighbourhood mall directly linked to Sheung Shui MTR by footbridge. Pet rules vary by tenant; verify with the shop before entering.

Large mall above LOHAS Park MTR. Official rules allow domesticated dogs and cats; indoors they must be carried, in a pet stroller or carry bag, while the podium allows leashed walking up to 1.5m. Restaurants and supermarkets are off-limits, except guide dogs and dogs exercising lawful powers.

Vertical mall above Nam Cheong MTR, open 10:00–22:00. Dogs are reported welcome throughout the mall and G/F open-air plaza only when carried in a pet stroller or bag with the safety strap fastened and cover closed; mid-to-large dogs need a muzzle and leash no longer than 1.5m. Individual tenants may set their own rules.

Tsuen Wan lifestyle mall with Citywalk Piazza, a 7,000 sq ft Vertical Garden and about 200 shops. Pets must remain in a stroller/bag or be hand-carried across the common areas — neighbouring Tsuen Wan Park has an off-leash dog area.

Tseung Kwan O lifestyle mall next to Hang Hau MTR. East Point City’s current pet-owner guidelines require pets to be in a stroller, carrier or hand-carried indoors; tenant rules still vary. A G/F indoor dog-park area gives dogs a weather-proof place to pause.

Tsing Yi mall above Tsing Yi MTR. In indoor areas, dogs and cats must stay in a stroller, carrier or be hand-carried; on the 2/F Green Balcony and roof garden of Maritime Square 2, pets may walk on a leash no longer than 1.5 metres.

166,000 sq ft waterfront mall at O'South Coast. The official site describes the area as pet-friendly: many restaurants and cafés welcome dogs, with bowls and drinking water available on request; check each venue before entering.

Tuen Mun MTR mall that allows domesticated dogs and cats. Indoors, pets must be in a stroller or carry bag, or be hand-carried; fighting or known-dangerous dogs are excluded, and pets cannot enter restaurants or supermarkets. Guide dogs and dogs carrying out lawful duties are exempt.
