The Mills

The Mills is a former textile mill with an open-air courtyard, workshops and retail, and its official pet programme invites visitors to explore with pets on a designated textile-history route. Keep the dog supervised and leashed, and check each shop or restaurant before entering. The programme does not establish that all food tenants take pets, so restaurant planning needs a direct confirmation.

The Hall concierge distributed the pet route map during the programme. The site is open daily from 10am to 10pm. Parking is HK$25 an hour. Private cars paying by Octopus can redeem original same-day machine-printed receipts: weekdays need HK$200 for one hour or HK$300 for two, while weekends and public holidays need HK$400 or HK$600. Use no more than three receipts and redeem before exit at the G/F or 1/F customer service counter, open 10am to 10pm. This is a good place to walk the route first and decide on food only after checking the tenant's rule. Food records include The Uniek, KOKO Coffee Roasters, Fleur, Yau Veggie Bistro, Retold, Kobane and Labels. This is a shortlist, not a pet-access list.

The Mills suits a visit where the dog walk is the main event and food comes second. Start outdoors, pick up the route information if it is available, and keep the leash short around other visitors and retail displays. The restaurant names give plenty of places to research, from coffee through vegetarian food and other meals, but each needs its own answer on pets. If driving, do not leave the redemption to the last minute: it needs original machine-printed receipts, Octopus payment, and a counter visit before exit. The two spending scales are different on weekdays and weekends, so check the day before planning a long stay.
