A practical guide for dog owners
This is a compact dog run, not the whole 80,000-square-metre park. Use the enclosure for off-leash play, then reconnect the lead before walking the waterfront or using shared park facilities. The small footprint makes supervision simple, but a busy group can fill it quickly.
Rail directions should point to Tsuen Wan West MTR, where LCSD specifically references Exit D. Old guides that say 'Tsuen Wan MTR' can send visitors to the wrong station and a much longer approach.
A water point and pet latrine are officially listed, but bring your own bowl and waste bags. At busy times, pause outside the gate and watch the group before deciding whether your dog will be comfortable entering.

Tsuen Wan Park Pet Garden is a 510-square-metre, 24-hour off-leash enclosure inside Tsuen Wan Park at 59 Wing Shun Street. LCSD lists a water point, garden benches, pet latrine and dog-waste collection bins. The larger park is also an Inclusive Park for Pets with accessible toilets, but dogs should remain leashed outside the designated pet garden.
Before you set off
Use Tsuen Wan West MTR Exit D, not Tsuen Wan Station, for the simplest rail approach. The 510-square-metre pet garden is open 24 hours and sits inside the much larger Tsuen Wan Park.
