Choosing a consultation or house call
Routine consultations are listed for Tuesday to Sunday, 9am–7pm; emergency care runs around the clock. The hospital lists CT, ultrasound, surgery, a blood bank and monitored inpatient care. Its FAQ welcomes internal-medicine referrals but does not require a referral for every consultation. HomeVet covers Hong Kong with separate booking and can arrange transfer to Kennedy Town when hospital care is needed.
Agreeing the treatment plan
For an admission or investigation, ask the treating vet to separate the initial assessment from optional or subsequent tests in the estimate. A home visit may still lead to transport and hospital charges. Before discharge, obtain the medication instructions and follow-up contact; for a transferred patient, ask VEC to send the findings to the original clinic.
