ePet Hong Kong review: delivery, 30-day returns and Autoship

ePet Hong Kong delivery starts with a HK$250 free-shipping threshold. Compare remote fees, 30-day unused returns, frozen-food exclusion and Autoship controls.

ePet suits repeat food and supplies orders once you know the exact product. Standard Hong Kong delivery is free from HK$250, and eligible unused items have a 30-day return window. Autoship can be changed or cancelled in the account. It is less useful for a first harness fitting or frozen food you may want to return.

Delivery: what will your address cost?

Order / address Published charge Delivery or collection
Standard area, basket under HK$250 HK$40 Usually 2–4 working days, Monday–Saturday
Standard area, basket HK$250+ Free Usually 2–4 working days
Mui Wo, South Lantau, Pui O, Lau Fau Shan, Tai O, Lamma, Cheung Chau or Peng Chau HK$50 remote charge Lamma, Cheung Chau, Peng Chau and Mui Wo use designated SF collection points
Discovery Bay or Ma Wan Check address at checkout Courier delivery may take 2–5 working days

Lo Wu, Mai Po, Man Kam To and Ta Kwu Ling are excluded. Heavy bags going to a walk-up may incur a courier stair charge; request the address-specific total before paying. See the live delivery policy.

Sample basket: HK$230 of food and pads costs HK$270 delivered to a standard address (HK$230 + HK$40). Add a genuinely needed HK$20 item and the basket becomes HK$250 with free standard delivery. A Cheung Chau order at the same basket value has the remote charge and a collection trip; do not compare only the item price.

Returns: the useful rule and the frozen exception

The current policy says unused, resaleable items can be returned within 30 days. Ordinary return carriage is yours; obtain authorisation first and keep packaging. Notify ePet within 30 days if an item arrives damaged or wrong so it can arrange a remedy. Frozen pet food is excluded from ordinary returns or exchanges; arrange to receive and inspect it promptly. The site says refunds are processed within 14 days after the warehouse receives and inspects a return.

Autoship in four steps

  1. Choose an eligible brand or item; the Autoship page lists Hill’s, Royal Canin, ACANA, ORIJEN, Oven-Baked Tradition and Wellness, not the whole catalogue.
  2. Set the interval and use a credit card or PayPal. Note the next order/payment date, which differs from delivery date.
  3. Check the email sent two days before the order and adjust it if you have enough food.
  4. Sign in → My Subscriptions → Edit to change, skip or cancel. WhatsApp support can also help. Allow about four working days from payment for delivery.

Our verdict: ePet is an easy repeat-order option for known dry or wet food and consumables, especially where the delivery address matches its published rules. Check the exact SKU and expiry on arrival. For a prescribed diet, use the formula given by your vet; a brand appearing in Autoship does not make every formula interchangeable. Compare other retailers in our Hong Kong pet-supplies guide.

Source notes

  1. ePet shipping and returns and Autoship, checked 25 September 2026. The live English returns page states 30 days, replacing the 14-day figure in our earlier review. The policy page also contains older-looking duplicated remote-delivery wording; use the actual address at checkout.
  2. This is a published-information review. DogDogHK did not place an order or receive compensation.
