OneDegree Paw-fit Pet Sports Day 2026: what worked for dogs at West Kowloon
A practical recap of the 30–31 May dog sports weekend at West Kowloon: activities, registration, heat planning, and crowd fit.

The OneDegree Paw-fit Pet Sports Day ran on 30–31 May 2026 across West Kowloon’s Harbourside East Lawn and Art Pavilion. Dogs had a dedicated outdoor sports zone; the wider programme added experience activities, workshops, a market and photo areas.
Registration for the public “Paw-thlete” places went through OneDegree’s PawBook app and was capped. That detail matters for any return: a free event can still require a named digital pass.
The lawn is the advantage—and the risk
West Kowloon gives dogs more breathing room than an exhibition hall, but late-May heat and humidity change the plan. Choose an early slot, test the ground with your hand, offer water often and stop before a dog begins to lag or pant hard. A competition timetable is never a reason to ignore heat stress.
Dogs entering sports should be comfortable waiting near movement and noise. Bring a cooling towel, shaded rest setup, non-slip mat, waste bags and familiar rewards. Avoid a large meal immediately before running.
If your dog does not want to compete
The market and experience programme can still make a visit worthwhile, but do not force a shy dog through photo queues or close greetings. Use the waterfront walk as the main outing and the event as a short stop.
The official Paw-fit page records the 2026 venue, activities and registration process. A future edition needs a fresh check for dates, app requirements, competition rules, vaccination documents and weather arrangements.
