Whiskers N Paws Hong Kong review: premium range, useful stores, clear delivery
A full review of Whiskers N Paws for Hong Kong dog owners, covering its Ap Lei Chau and LOHAS stores, HK$300 delivery threshold, returns and best baskets.

A retailer for browsing new things and reordering the familiar
Retailer review researched on 30 September 2026 using public store and product information. No store visit, test purchase or feeding trial was conducted.
Whiskers N Paws is worth considering when you want somewhere to browse before deciding what to buy. It combines an online shop with retail stores in Ap Lei Chau and The LOHAS, so you can look at unfamiliar products in person and order the next bag of food online once you know what you want.1
That gives it a different role from a single-brand food subscription. WNP is a retailer with a choice of brands and product types. It is useful if you’re comparing options or buying more than food, though we would still compare the delivered price when simply restocking a familiar recipe. This review looks at the shopping arrangements, rather than judging any individual dog food.
When a store visit is useful
A replacement bag of your dog’s usual food is a straightforward online purchase. A harness, bed or travel crate can take more thought. Photographs don’t always answer the question you care about, whether that’s how a fastening works or how much space a bed will take up at home.
The Ap Lei Chau flagship is on the tenth floor of Horizon Plaza. The LOHAS store is at Shop 358 in the Tseung Kwan O mall. Both list retail and grooming services, and The LOHAS also lists a café. ELEMENTS is listed separately for grooming only, so choose one of the retail branches for a shopping trip.123
Take your dog’s measurements and a photo of the item you’re replacing. If the trip depends on one particular product, ask the branch to confirm stock before you leave; seeing an item online doesn’t establish that it’s on that store’s shelf.
Choosing food from a wider range
WNP’s current subscription catalogue includes Orijen, Instinct and Stella & Chewy’s, alongside frozen-food options. Having several brands and formats in one place makes it a useful starting point when you want to see what’s available. It doesn’t make every food equally suitable for your dog.4
For a repeat purchase, compare the exact recipe, pack weight and life stage. For a new food, we’d start with a smaller quantity where available. The saving on a large bag soon loses its appeal if your dog won’t eat it, and the food-return policy gives you another reason to buy cautiously.
Getting it home
The delivery page lists free delivery from HK$300, with a HK$50 charge below that, and lets you choose an available date up to two weeks ahead. An eligible HK$280 basket therefore becomes HK$330 with delivery. Adding a HK$20 item you actually need could cost less overall; adding unwanted extras just to reach the threshold may not.5
Check the checkout calendar before relying on a particular day. The delivery page excludes Sundays and public holidays, while the general terms give a different schedule. For an outlying address or a building without a lift, confirm service with WNP before paying.56
If a branch fits into your day, collection may be simpler. Choose Ap Lei Chau or The LOHAS at checkout and wait for the ready-to-collect email. The policy gives you three days after notification to collect the order.7
Subscribe once you know what you want
WNP offers recurring orders, with discounts that vary by brand and promotion. Check both the introductory offer and the ongoing saving. The published terms require three deliveries, with restrictions on ordinary changes, pauses and cancellations during that period. Cancelling early can mean repaying the discounts received. We’d reserve this for food your dog already eats reliably.46
Check returns before trying a new food
The returns page advertises a 14-day window including return transit, but excludes food categories such as kibble, canned food, frozen food, treats and supplements. Don’t assume an unopened bag qualifies for a change-of-mind return. If an order arrives wrong or damaged, keep the packaging, take photographs and contact customer service promptly.8
Who WNP suits
WNP is a useful option for owners who like having a physical shop as well as online ordering. We’d use the stores to narrow down unfamiliar purchases, then compare the full cost for repeat orders. The subscription makes most sense once you’ve settled on a food and are comfortable committing to the next three deliveries.
