Carna4

A well-documented baked-food option: published nutrient profiles and a named independent laboratory testing programme support its placement. The no-premix claim is descriptive, not the reason it ranks here.

About raw handling, labels and meal suitability

What is in the food?

Duck combines animal ingredients with sprouted seeds and starches. It is not a single-protein duck diet: pork liver, eggs and herring are listed.

Natural ingredients, additives & processing

Quick-baked then air-dried. The manufacturer says it adds no synthetic premix. Sprouted barley is still on the ingredient list despite grain-free marketing.

Does it contain MSG?

MSG is not listed on the checked Duck ingredients. This is a label finding only.

No declared MSG describes the checked label only. It is not a claim about every recipe or a laboratory finding.

What do owner reviews tell us?

The opened HKTVmall Duck listing says there are no product reviews. The store’s 4.0 score is not a Carna4 rating.

Before you buy

The brand says Mortec tests batches for pathogens, contaminants and guaranteed nutrients, holding batches until safety results return. We did not inspect batch certificates. The seller still repeats a 2016 formula-change note; match the delivered pack.
