KMB Pet Bus: current routes, fares and how to book
KMB's pet bus now runs daily on five routes. Check the HK$35 single trip, seven-day and monthly fares, where the buses go, and how to book in App 1933.
Use KMB’s Pet Bus for a planned outing, not as a turn-up-and-go service. It runs daily on five routes, but weekday departures from the West Kowloon and Sai Sha GO PARK starting points are only at noon, 2pm, 4pm and 6pm. Pick your return bus before you buy the outward ticket in App 1933. A single ride for one person and one pet is HK$35.

Checked against KMB’s route and fare announcement on 25 September 2026. Stop order is a planning guide; the boarding side and time depend on direction. In particular, PB2’s West Kowloon stop does not operate on weekdays. Use App 1933 for your date and direction.

Two single rides cost HK$70; the HK$80 seven-day pass starts saving money on the third ride. It can also suit an outing with a bus change. The passes exclude special event routes. KMB gives passengers aged 65 or above half-price seven-day and monthly passes.
Weekends and public holidays are easier for a day out: KMB lists service from 10am to 7pm, about every 45 minutes from the route starting points. Weekday service is sparser. Those are starting-point times, not a promise that a bus reaches your stop then. Book in App 1933:
- Open Pet Bus / 寵物巴士團 and select the route and travel date.
- Check the exact boarding stop and outward departure for your direction.
- Check the last usable return departure before paying, especially if your stop is weekend-only.
- Select the ticket, pay in the app, and keep its boarding QR code ready. Read KMB’s pet boarding rules before you leave.
The published weekday noon, 2pm, 4pm and 6pm times are departures from the route starting points. They are not arrival times at intermediate stops.
An outing worth the ride
PB3 puts West Kowloon Art Park within reach from Hong Kong Island. PB2 serves Sai Kung, where you can walk the waterfront and use our Sai Kung guide to pick somewhere to eat. PB1 serves Sha Tin; Penfold Park needs an onward journey, so check that connection first.
Bring a lead, water and waste bags. Most of all, check the last useful return departure and any weekend-only stop in App 1933. That is what determines whether the bus works for your dog and your day.
